My work explores the challenges and conflicts we face when questioning knowledge,  personal beliefs and the unknown. Using objects and a cast of characters, I create visionary spaces of clashing images from personal histories in an attempt to uncover new meaning.   

 

I have been working on the present body of work for over twenty years.  The materials used include acrylic paint and collage on rag paper.  The collage elements are based upon my original photos, and sometimes manipulated appropriated images, printed on rag paper with an archival inkjet printer.
